These are photographs of Patrick R. McElhiney's beloved pet "Kitty", the Black Manx cat. She really liked Patrick, evident by how she meowed and brushed up against Patrick's legs when he walked outside. She was an outdoors only cat, when we lived at 1486 Crossbill Way. Not all legs were spared - she liked to claw at Patrick's mother's legs, even when she was feeding her. Kitty liked catnip, like all cats - she would go pretty crazy when she was given some. We used to grow it in the garden, but it didn't grow for very long before she would eat it all obsessively. When Patrick and Diane (Patrick's Mom) moved away to New Hampshire, Michael (Patrick's Dad) gave Kitty to the Iranian lady who lived at the mailbox on Crossbill Way.
