Dover, NH (2006-2007)

Patrick McElhiney lived in Dover, NH from 2006 to 2007 at his grandmother's house located on Renaud Ave. Her name was Loretta Labrie. She died in 2006, during a time that was difficult for Patrick. His parents got a divorce, and Patrick moved from Turlock, CA to Dover, NH with his mother. Patrick's grandfather, who died before Patrick was born, developed the entire area of Renaud Ave, including Keating Ave, which was named after Patrick's grandmother's family. Patrick has a lot of family in Dover, NH from his mom's side of the family.

Patrick attended McIntosh College, which was located in Dover, NH, from 2007-2008. He graduated with an A.S. Business Management degree and went on to attend college at Daniel Webster College from 2008-2010, where he earned a B.S. Marketing Management degree in 2010. Both of these schools closed down because of the 2008 Financial Crisis. Patrick addressed questioning to Bill Shaheen, the attorney who was representing Career Education Corporation at the time, in regards to how to save the college from closing down, however he didn't return his communications in time.

Patrick developed a community website called Dover Was First in 2007, which featured a message board, a chat room, photo and video galleries, and many other features all connected to a Content Management System - such as Real Estate advertisements. He didn't find a buyer for the website infrastructure at the time.

Patrick worked for Hillary for President from 2007-2008, where he met Chelsea Clinton in Vermont. Patrick has been dreaming about running a Presidential campaign against her for years, for fun, and not because she didn't marry him. Patrick developed a crush on Cheslea in 2nd grade. Patrick believes he can win against her in the Democratic Primary - even though currently her resume is much better than his when it comes to what it would take to be President of the United States. Patrick probably wouldn't run unless she ran against him. She was primarily the reason why Patrick worked on her mother's campaign. He thinks that she owes it to him to help him win a Presidential bid, 30 years or so in the future. He wants to have a successful career before he gets into politics, because he thinks he'll bring more to the table.

Patrick also worked in the Joe B. Parks Riverwalk Garden in downtown Dover, NH. He painted a fence white behind the orange Trela house, where his mom's parents met for the first time.

Patrick moved from his grandmother's house on Renaud Ave to his mother's new house on Nuthatch Loop in Barrington, NH in 2007. He had lived in his grandmother's house, alone by himself, for some time before the house sold.

More information will be published about Patrick's life in Dover, NH at a later date.
